This live, online workshop will explore the needs and experiences of women veterans in greater depth, and explore how services may better meet these needs. It will focus on experiences of military sexual trauma, discuss evidence-based practice and provide an opportunity to share experiences of service provision.

Appropriate for anyone who engages with women veterans in a healthcare or support setting.

Advanced understanding of women veterans PLUS Cognitive Processing Therapy training

2 days Live, online Funded – late 2024

This live, online workshop will explore the needs and experiences of women veterans in greater depth and also equip accredited clinicians with knowledge in using Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to treat PTSD resulting from sexual trauma in women veterans. The course will be facilitated by Dr Candice Monson, one of the co-originators of CPT.

For registered mental healthcare professionals only. It is recommended that participants have a prior understanding in cognitive behavioural therapy.
